Creating Pay Items

You can create common pay items that can be assigned to all employees. You can create two types of pay items, Earnings pay item and Deductions pay item.  

To create pay items, click on Payroll > Pay Item in the side menu. Then, click on Add Pay Item button.

 

Give a name to the pay item. You should avoid using employees’ names for naming the pay items. Next, in Payment Type select the relevant Payment Type, and click on Save. The newly created Pay Item should now appear in the Pay Items list.
